On my trip to Copenhagen, I wondered if there's one picture I could click that could define my winter time in Copenhagen.
And while I clicked many pictures, which were quite high in dramatic value, none came close to defining what I saw and felt on a regular basis in that beautiful city.
Until one day while walking down the streets, while the lakes were still frozen, but people were still cycling and walking around, as if it's just another day, I by chance ended up clicking this shot.
As I saw two cyclists and two pedestrians going in opposite directions. With lamp posts signifying the peaceful nature of the city.
And that kinda became my memories from Denmark, where I would just walk for hours, by myself, and watch others cycle through the city. And it was wonderful how everyone was so fit, and opted for a more environment friendly way of living.
.
This picture is a perfect representation of my time in Copenhagen.

Let’s go back to some urban sceneries, shall we?
As much as I love being by the beach, lately my favorite trips have become the ones to cities.
⠀
Do you like visiting cities like me or you are more for trips into nature?

So yes, I came back to Copenhagen this year.
I had already visited it last year, and I completely fell in love.
⠀
I like coming back to places that I enjoyed, and my dear friend @veronica_vnc lives there: two birds with one stone!
⠀
Copenhagen is such a chill place, there’s a quiet vibe around that makes you feel like you’re in a small town, but at the same time, you have all the advantages of a European capital.
People are super friendly, and this time I’ve noticed some social and cultural similarities with Canada and Toronto that made me like the place even more! Looks like Northern countries have things in common :) Copenhagen is definitely a must-visit city if you are vegan or you like vegan food: there are vegan bars and cafes basically everywhere! So good for a lactose intolerant like me.
And it’s also the bike city of Europe, right? Biking along its streets is just the best feeling in the world! If you go, you should give it a try
⠀
{P.S.: If you still crave for summer vibes, check out my stories for some more Bahamas pics!} ⠀

A new tower is sprouting in the skyline of Copenhagen. This slender tower is rising 56 meters (184 ft) at the end of Hjørringgade at Østerbro. The 16 story tower is retracted from the street and adapts to the existing buildings with 5 floors at the street facade. Charlottetårnet as it’s named, is a part of Charlottehaven and contains 37 hotel apartments assigned for expats. Both Charlottehaven and the new Charlottetårnet is designed by @LundgaardTranberg
