. One way to unwind . . . Looking through my Instagram gallery I was quite surprised to notice myself that I haven't posted that many sunset images. Don't get me wrong I adore a beautiful sunset but to be truthful it's difficult to get the time away to be on location for one. Last Friday lady luck was on our side and a weekend away in Cornwall started with a BBQ on the beach at Harlyn Bay on Friday evening. Watching the sun getting lower in the sky on the beach is one way to unwind for sure. Making an image was not actually on my priority list but I could hardly ignore what was unfolding in front of me. A quick dash to the van to grab my gear before the intense colour started to fade the image was taken. Apart from cropping I've not done much to this in lightroom. I feel this place is mandatory to visit when you’re in Cornwall, St. Ives. Excellent place to take a walk in the harbour and eat ice cream and in general soaking in the fresh air, and relax. Great cafes and restaurants too! And why not take a walk to Tate, arts museum with some fantastic and interesting pieces. However, if you ever visit St. Ives, be careful and watch your ice cream and food. The seagulls are some dangerous birds. This is my last post, and it’s been so fun doing this takeover! My last post is a sunset shot from Newquay. Had an absolute blast staying there for 2 nights. With both surfing and good food. My London plan is pretty simple: shoot as much as possible. I feel like I’ve got so much to learn still, so much to practice, and so many ideas to test out. Today was me putting my plan into action. @logankemp and I only shot for an hour, but we got loads done! I used nothing but the natural light in the house (yes this house has a LOT of that!), and we had a blast :) I love these simple portraits of her, I hope you do too ☺️
