First off, how I could have possibly projected my letters on this wall the *exact width of my paintbrush is a nod to what a perfect day I experienced. I woke up wide awake at 4:30am and decided to start kicking butt. Answered inquiries, booked some sweetass gigs, went for a gorgeous run in the back bay Even got in a float tank session and some sketching. Every single person I came into contact with today was smiling and incredibly kind. I did my best to beam that sunshine right back out there into the world. I could go on but I’ll stop. I’m giving up sweets for lent so I’m trying to pack in as much sugar as I can before that. I’m still dreaming about the dessert I shared with friends last night at @theboathousecollective in Costa Mesa. This Carrot Cake was one of the best I’ve had. You can taste the fresh grated carrot and the carrot purée served with was incredible and really helped balance out all of the flavors.
