Okay motofriends, we are one week away from the Oil & Ale Spring Opener Show, where the Unicorn Chaser is going to make its first public appearance! If you’re thinking right now, “that bike doesn’t look like it’s ready to be in a show Liza ” you are absolutely right ‍♀️ Currently I have a box full of parts at powder coating, which doesn’t include the frame. I still need to fab up a few custom pieces I had planned for, including the number plate/head light bracket. I have to fill and paint the tank, of course, along with a whole list of other things that just shouldn’t be rushed (special thanks to @origin8or for the recent reality check). I’ll be honest guys, it sucks. But what would suck more is having spent the last year busting my butt, building a bike that I’m not 100% proud of. So, take it or leave it, but that’s the reality of a garage build: things rarely go according to plan. I’m still trying to get as much done as I can for the show, so I have a ton of work to do in the next few days But anyway, thank you guys for your supportive comments through all this, for your patience in one day finally seeing this thing done, and most of all for putting up with my bad puns.. you really make a wrench like me feel special

Still have a long way to go before the #unicornchasercx500 is finished for @freedommachines but I’m pretty pumped with the progress so far.
