#transformationtuesday The 1st pic is from a little over year ago, when I met my now fiancé. 2nd pic is today. I have led a very active lifestyle (as it is my job) but honestly believe the excess weight was from stress and exercising too much. Don't get me wrong--I LOVE MY JOB! But driving around the city all day everyday like a mad woman and having little recovery time was a bit stressful, and also led to plantar fasciitis. I started teaching at @cyclebarchatt in January and dropped all my back-to-back evening high intensity classes in exchange for 1 cycling class a night. My body (and foot) thanked me for it and the pounds just melted off. I still love teaching Zumba and STRONG By Zumba and am feeling more like a normal person teaching those classes 4x a week instead of 9x! I knew I needed to cut back but didn't know how and CycleBar saved me! In conclusion: guys, please listen to your body! Choose an exercise you enjoy, push hard during your workouts, and give yourself 1-2 recovery days! Hey, sleepy head! . One of my favorite weekend routines is waking up Saturday morning and watching the sun come up while getting prepared for 8:00am CycleBar! . . I love this outfit I received from @cyclebarnaples not only because it is SO cute, but because it also taught me a lesson. When I first got this outfit, I saved it. Kept the tags on and put it away in my drawers. It was supposed to be a ‘reward.’ Once I felt I made enough progress, hit a new power PR, pushed myself more etc... MONTHS later and it was still sitting in my drawers solely because I thought I hadn’t earned it yet. Well this past weekend I pulled it out and said suck it to the need of feeling I earned it. It’s okay to be happy with where you are while still working to become stronger❣️ .
