Traditions. ❣️ Ever since Afton was this age, I've painted her toenails and fingernails for her. It's part of our special time, a time that we both really enjoy. I painted Hazel's for the first time this weekend, and she was so excited. I truly enjoy being able to have this time with them. At the end, Afton always gives me a fingernail and toenail rainbow of colors, which I'm currently rocking now. ❣️ Fellow dads, is this something that you do with your little ones? I can’t count the number of times we visit our local branch of Kura Zushi, a conveyor belt sushi restaurant. Of course it’s got sushi, but I like the variety of menu options like ramen, salads, burgers, fried chicken bites, fries, and most importantly, the classic Japanese dish, chocolate cake We also like the mini games which is why it’s our family date night spot. Throwback to when this guy {DaddySHINE} showed the world what perseverance and determination looked like. He already had a fabulous job and the start of our happy family, and didn’t “need” his college degree... but he chose to go back and finish college to prove to himself that he could do it, and to his daughter (little did he know soon-to-be *many* daughters) what commitment and follow-through looks like. Cheers to the many other non-traditional students overcoming big obstacles and achieving big personal goals by graduating this year!
