This is me trying my best to channel @dhanushkraja in this poster for The Extraordinary Journey Of The Fakir . . I had a blast dancing the night away to some banging Bollywood and Bhangra tracks and experiencing the sheer unadulterated joy that dancing brings to me. . . Speaking of joy, do yourself a favour and check out this movie. It is absolutely delightful and much more than your average rom-com. It made me laugh out loud and also shed a tear or two. Plus Dhanush was simply charming. This is definitely not your typical Bollywood movie. Went to Dance DTLA tonight to celebrate the release of @dhanushkraja new movie The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir. I had a lot of fun learning some Bollywood dance moves and I hopefully succeeded in pulling some of them off! I think SRK would be proud! . . The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir is in theaters now and my quick review is that it is a very sweet and heartwarming movie. Every Friday through Aug. 30, participants can learn new dance moves in a judgment free zone, and there’s a different dance genre each week.
