Hope you all had happy holidays with friends and family! ❤️ Most of you have seen these jeans already, but I just want to post them again because I think they may be my favorite pair. They’re not as striking and don’t stand out as much as paintings like Starry Night or Monet’s beautiful lilies, but the painting itself was such a fun challenge for me to recreate and I’m so proud of how it turned out! - These jeans went to their new home months ago (I hope they’re doing well ), but I still look back at the photos of them every once in awhile. - In 2019 I’ll be starting on some new paintings I’ve never done before. Some famous ones you’ll all recognize and I hope to create some original designs in the new year - Please check FAQ in my story highlights for the answer to your questions! A different perspective — In beginner drawing classes they’ll teach you to turn an image upside down and draw it. That way you’re focusing on the lines and shapes instead of what the object is. It’s helpful to maintain perspective and proper shape! — Sometimes your brain has a hard time drawing something when it knows what it is — you focus on the object and how you think it should look instead of the lines and shapes that make the object. — Have you taken any art classes that taught this technique? ‍♀️
