New! Dianthus “Caramel” tinted by Viproses. Dianthus is so popular.. she is strong and beautiful and fun in all tinted colors. Due to the improved process, the shelf live has become much better, sometimes more than 2 weeks! Dianthus is the Latin name, in English it is Carnation, in French Oeillet, in German ‘Nelke’, in Italy ‘Garofano’ and in Russia ‘Gvozdika’. I am sure I forgot some, let me know!!! #dianthus #viproses
Ok, I am in love with the dianthus I’m seeing lately. Hopefully these are going to be wildly popular, because I must have them always and always. Peeped and scooped at @mayeshwholesale today: Solomio variety ‘Tino’, Raffine variety ‘Milou,’ and Solomio variety ‘Ard.’ Names in swiping order, Tino’s so cute, I show him twice. ✨
Thanks for the info, @commercedrew

What sorcery is this? I've been under the spell of this Dianthus caryophyllus 'Chomley Farran', an old dianthus being grown out again by @issima__ - thanks again for the delayed reveal, what a gift! ❤️ I promise the color in these photos hasn't been altered one bit. .

These Chabaud (carnations) are old-fashioned & date back to the early 1900s and native to the Mediterranean. I started these from seed last September and transplanted at the end of October and overwintered (I didn’t even use row cover). They began blooming about 5 weeks ago and are adorable.
