I’m a little late but GBO is over. I played a solid 1023 rated first round to put me in 3rd out of 335 people. The second was almost unplayable, we had 50 mph wind gusts and a constant 30 mph wind out at Olpe lake. I went OB 10 times but played good other than that. Third round the wind was annoying and I just got some bad breaks and didn’t execute. I am overall happy finishing tied for 35th our of 335 people in Advanced, but there are so many things that I can learn from. On to the next one always improving my game and my attitude. This past weekend I played in my first A-tier of the year, The Rumble. I played ok and great at West Lake. I had it wrapped up and unfortunately had 3 back to back to back roll aways on the final hole. 3 times that my disc rolled into the ravine and I double bogeyed the final hole. I couldn’t believe what I had just witnessed. This is by far the worst way I have lost a tournament and there was nothing I could do about it. I am very happy with a 2nd place finish though. Once again my 450 D2 was money all weekend along with my putting. On my second round I finished with 9 birdies in a row and had opportunities at eagles. Yesterday I played in the 2019 OPC Open. I got my first win of the year, and I won by 12 strokes! My overall game felt great and my putting was phenomenal! I also averaged 1000 rated!
