How I got here✨ it took some time figuring out what I wanted to do with my life. For those really close to me know that I originally wanted to be a hand bag designer. 7 years ago I took my first trip to Paris and fell in love. I didn’t want to be just any handbag designer I wanted it to be business bags for the working woman. I wanted to give them a bag that would empower them and give them a sense of strength, like they could conquer anything they wanted with this bag. I researched how every big designer got started then a good friend of mine helped me design the exact bag I was envisioning. I was calling manufactures here and overseas to price out how much it would be to get the bags made then looking into how to get these bags into department stores like Hudson’s Bay. Then, I thought I wanted to do Law School and studied months for the LSAT (maybe it was the CSI obsession I had from a young age) but I knew I had a passion for law and how different laws impact the way we live our lives. However, I ended up figuring out that it wasn’t necessarily a lawyer I wanted to be. I grew up working jobs that were always based around customer service and customer satisfaction and although I never realize it at the time, it became to be something that I really valued. I realized that it was the customer experience that kept people coming back to you! I wanted to meet new people, and I valued making them happy. I also wanted something that I knew would be different everyday, social (because teachers in school never knew where to sit me because I would talk to anyone) and challenge me to learn new things no matter how long I’d been doing something. I remember a professor of mine in university had told the class that the school system doesn’t do a good enough job educating students on what’s out there. That it isn’t just lawyer, doctor or teacher and that there’s so much you can do in this world & be! ✨ I ended up finding my passion and something that I love doing everyday, that not only challenges me but excites me along the way. That being said, don’t stress if you don’t know what you want to do yet & I look forward to sharing what I love with you guys!
