#AD One of my projects in our patio make over was to make a wall herb planter and I’ve finally got round to making this out of a pallet! It was a really simple project and I’ll share how I did it on my blog soon, it literally cost NOTHING and to jazz it up I painted it with one of Cuprinol (the woodcare partner of @duluxuk paint) outdoor paints in Black Ash. They have a range of paints, Natures neutrals which are perfect for painting your big outdoor areas such as fences or decking and to compliment those, Nature’s Brights which are best suited for smaller projects such as details on pots or furniture. Well I’m a monochrome neutral type of gal so obviously I decided to go for the neutral range and paint this black! I added the herb names too just with a fine chalk board pen (wrote those after half a bottle of Prosecco last night so surprised it’s not totally wonky!) There’s nothing worse than being poorly with little ones. Pre children you could feel horrid but at least silently without a little one pulling your hair! Plus Dottie is still breastfeed so that was a total struggle. My sweet mama helped with the kids and clean sheeted my bed, she even did the cushions all fancy! So the OH FINALLY gave into my pleas for this new purchase from @earls.house and how gorgeous does it look in this room! We've drilled holes in the back and are using it as a TV cabinet. We've also had a move around of some other bits of furniture in here and in the playroom too and it's all looking really rather fabulous...if I do say so myself I love moving things around don't you? We loved collaborating with @duluxaus for their Dulux Design Collective range where we were given the opportunity to come up with a design idea using the Vintage Gold effect paint. We wanted to create a visual impact on the wall so designed this geometric wall mural and incorporated the gold metallic paint to create some shimmer and shine for a little girls room!
