A local farmer invited us in to see the lambs. Those hazel wicker gates are older than him. He’s made special little spaces for each of the newly born lambs with their mums using these as well as pallets and labelled with lids from feed buckets. His dad’s Aunty is Lucy, the little girl drawn in Beatrix Potter’s Miss Tiggy Winkle.
