Leek and parmesan tart
Ingredients :
1 tart crust
5 eggs
1 medium leek
2 tablespoons butter
3 dl heavy cream
salt and black pepper (freshly ground)
150 gram cheese (freshly grated and highly flavorful like Gruyère or Parmesan
How to :
Preheat oven 190 degrees (375 Fahrenheit)
Clean the leek, remove the root end and dark green leaves, halve them lengthwise, and cut them into thin slices. Rinse any grit off the sliced leeks, if necessary.
Melt the butter in a large frying pan or saute pan over medium heat. Add the sliced leeks and sprinkle them with the salt. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the leeks are tender, about 10 minutes.
In a bowl, toss together the eggs, heavy cream and cheese and season with salt and pepper.
Lay the crust in a 22 cm (9-inch) round tart pan (or similar)
Add the leek to the crust, and spread it in an even layer. Pour in the egg and cheese mixture. Set the tart pan on a baking sheet, just to be safe in case of a boil-over. Bake the tart until it’s golden, about 35 minutes.
Let the tart sit 10 minutes before cutting / •

Revealing my dimsum babies that will be available for sticker pack launch tomorrow (Sunday 26/5). I also love to develop these characters into art prints and postcard sets so let me know what you think . One of my favourite activity to do with friends is dimsum dates and here are my favourite:
1/ Glutinous Rice Ball - these are very tasty and fragrant (since they are wrapped in banana leaf) and their filling are savoury - usually a mince pork or prawn filling . Ordering just one of these can easily fill you up for a whole day ahead.
2/ Salted Egg Bun - I love this the most and it is usually a highlight of my dimsum dates. The egg yolk are runny and salty, creamy and sweet at the same time makes this bun a heavenly small eats that are unforgettable. (i also draw the bun drooling egg yolk too ) 3/ Egg Tart - It is a very popular dessert to end your dimsum dates. Not too sweet and very easy to eat, this can be eaten or bought alone in local Asian bakery or street vendors.
4/ Baby Siumai - I drew this chum and he is so small and cute ! Having siumai with prawn or pork filling is a must have during your dimsum dates and it will make your stomach very happy ••••••••••••••••••••••••
