I finished my sage green skirt!  I was able to wear it for my socials fair at school where I did a project about the history of fashion.  I wanted to dress as someone from the 1950s, as it is my favourite fashion decade, so I added a crinoline and it worked really well.  I love the crinoline (which I rented) so I am going to take some pictures and see if I can make one for myself.

With his family by our side, and unsuspecting classmates watching, we had the pleasure of surprising one of our high school mentors with a full week summer scholarship to @woodwardtahoe while he was at school. I DID IT! I reached my crowdfunding goals and I was able to reach this goal with the help of 34 donations but hundreds of kind words and little pieces of encouragement from so many people! I am really excited about my trip and want to say thank you.

I was contacted by a contributor to Miss O and Friends @missoandfriends who have launched an app for girls.  They asked me if I could check out their new app, Girl2Girl Wall and perhaps be a role model for tween girls on their site.  The app is 100% safe with no bullying or identifiable info (all submissions are moderated by real people before being posted on the app). They are trying to build a positive and empowering community for girls and after spending some time on the app, I thought it was a really great group of girls and definitely somewhere that a girl could go to ask questions, get advice, or just chat.
