Equatorial Guinea. A jungle shrouded by mist, as the African sun tries to burn off the night and heat the continent to boiling point. Equatorial Guinea is not an easy place to enter. The visa is one of the hardest I have ever had to get. You even need to get a Police clearance certificate, to prove you have never been in trouble. But once that visa was in my passport I was overjoyed and determined to have a good time. But despite how hard the visa was to get, it was still not the most difficult. Anyone got any visa nightmare stories? Syria was the hardest for me, after being denied 6 times. Then Turkmenistan and Iran. The harder the visa, the sweeter the visit feels when you make it in to the country. Tuvalu. Flying in to paradise and one of my favourite countries in the world. Tuvalu is not an easy or cheap place to reach, but once you get there it is more than worth all of the effort. The Pacific in my opinion is the most beautiful area of the world for beaches and islands, and Tuvalu is at the top due to its tiny size, friendly people and stunning archipelago of uninhabited islands. It’s my first time here and it looks BRILLIANT!! And it’s furthermore a special one for the Saga as we are now only left with 20 more to go... .
