Pt. 2 - ten minutes before this we were walking to the park, having a discussion that was heated as hell and bumped the reservation so we could walk it off. Forty five minutes before that we lost the gift card that was the reason for said hot date, circling the house and rummaging through the same piles of nonsense that collect and stack and we still haven’t managed (and will def continue to avoid) to put away. One year before this we were stressed out of our gourds with wedding planning- two years and some change before that we’d just moved to Korea, terrified. Sweating in the humidity/belief that maybe we shouldn’t have done this, that we overestimated our courage to commitment ratio, etc. It is absolutely wild to take a minute and think about what’s brought us here, lost gift cards and fights and fear. And the constant reminder that the life we’ve chosen can, and continually does, change direction in the course of a five minute park walk. Or gift card hunt. Or a move to Korea with someone you met six months prior because you are maybe insane. Also supes important to remember that Instagram is a strange, filtered look at seconds in the milestones that sometimes take years. Thanks God for dim sum, sentimentality, and school being done in a week and a half. This must be the place❤️✌ Songdo, Incheon

This day last year we headed on to an unknown adventure with some excitement and a lot of expectations. I have to say the past year in Malta just flew by! . .
