I get plenty of questions about how I can apply foam so that lash extensions won't stick to the tape. Or - they love foam tape but always have the extensions stick to it. Yes, it can be a little bit difficult biting the bullet to switch to thicker foam tape, especially if you were using regular tape or gel pads for a long time, since they are definitely thinner. But there is always some trick :) ☝️☝️☝️ Take an another peace of foam tape and lift the eyelid enough that you can see that the upper water line lift, so it doesn't lay on the foam tape, but making sure the eye stays closed. So how it is with classic eyelashes, are they really easier to create lash applications with?

As single lashes, for sure easier to work with, because you don’t have to focus on creating perfect symmetrical lash fans, but in creating certain eye-style, classics can be real pain in the a** sometimes! I do believe mapping is an important part of growing your skills and perfecting lash sets.
 I usually create a map on clients natural lashes! Especially when it comes to classic eyelashes, because there is so much you can do wrong in the process. Because classic eyelashes are attached one to one natural lash, you have to pay serious attention to how you place your lashes and how you direct them! Even smallest mistake will be seen there. How does it work?

I place all the longest lengths that I’m going to use in the bottom layer of clients lashes (according chosen style - super important!) This way I know that the style I chose for my client is going to turn out like I have planned. Then I’m filling the lashes in the outer-corner moving towards inner corner, switching the eyes (left-right) after I place one lash. I really love doing one by one technique as it gives me full control over direction of eyelashes. Then Im filling the rest of lengths and layers according to my visual map on clients eyes. 
If you are not that advanced, you can draw your lash map on the pad first and the do the scheme I showed you above (to combine those two methods). Tip: Fill up the bottom layer of eyelashes first, so when you finish, you set look full. Even when you don’t manage to fully cover clients lashes, it still looks full! You can save this post in the right corner under the picture, so it won’t loose it in feed.
