DINOSAUR EGGS This one is *always* a hit at the Sensory Play Sessions I run with our gorgeous 3-5 year olds- I can never make enough of them! (My 3 yo thinks so too ) ‘Save’ post to try later - it’s a goodie! YOU NEED: Small plastic toys (these are dinosaur counters from @educationalexperience - but we’ve done it with all types, including our @wildheartsplay figurines!) Bicarb soda / baking soda food colouring a little bit of water vinegar Pipettes / squeezy bottle / (new) medicine dispenser . . TO DO (with your child!): Make my ‘coloured fizzy’ recipe according (see #playfullittlelearners_colouredfizzy) stir in water a little at a time, stopping when it starts sticking together get a handful of the ‘dough’, put small toy in and gently squeeze lay out ‘eggs’ invite your child to squeeze vinegar on eggs and watch them ‘hatch’! . ❗️Please note: common sense prevails when doing this - these ‘eggs’ are not for tasting!❗️ Let me know if you give this a go .
