Tomba di Ramses VI, Valle dei Re, Egitto. KV9 è la sigla che identifica la tomba di Ramses VI, situata nella Valle dei Re. Secondo gli archeologi Ramses VI (XX dinastia) non fu l'originario costruttore della tomba, perché il monumento fu inizialmente costruito da Ramses V, suo predecessore. Le iscrizioni relative a Ramses V si trovano sulle pareti del primo corridoio della struttura, ma furono successivamente ricoperte da quelle di Ramses VI. Non è tuttavia noto se Ramses V sia stato sepolto in questa tomba e solo successivamente traslato in un'altra sepoltura, o se i due faraoni abbiano condiviso la KV9 per qualche tempo. Tuttavia, le mummie di entambi vennero scoperte nella tomba di Amenofi II nel 1898. All'interno di questa tomba dormirono moltissimi archeologi dell'800 durante le varie spedizioni archeologiche. The inscriptions relating to Ramses V are found on the walls of the first corridor of the structure, but were later covered by those of Ramses VI. However, it is not known whether Ramses V was buried in this tomb and only later transferred to another burial, or whether the two pharaohs shared the KV9 for some time.
