Last year my tomato harvest went nuts. Mainly because I had 30 plants growing in seasoned pure cow manure and they were super high yielding varieties. They grew well over my head. I was well over my head with what to do with them. I gave them away by the buckets. .This year I didn’t plant any tomatoes I still had a bazillion sauce, relish, chutney, etc... jars from last year still around. . But I want some for one kinda preserve. . To make chilli mussel sauce. . . For my winter fires down the beach to crack open when I do pots of chilli mussels .... and unfortunately now I feel now I may have missed that tomato window boat. Haven’t seen any in bags at farm gate honestyshops. So maybe from the fires, lack of bees or just season, there’s not many around. . . Anyone got that tomato glut and has a bucket or 10 to sell? Happy to pick myself. Just would like around 30kg myself ideally but even a few kg is good ....and I also have some good preserving girlfriends that are chasing some too if you have loads. . Let me know. . Happy to barter parts part too - a hand drawn map, raspberry jam, lessons on iPhone photography & editing or social media layouts.... and so very happy to go for a lovely drive and see the countryside so somewhere in Tasmania. I love my life right now....I’m in a really good space. I’ve been taking time out finding out what I like. What makes me tick and ripping back layers to understand my past and realise how wonderful my future is. I’m just so happy in the present. . I was told recently by a friend after she returned from a weekend away with an amazing group of women. She was told something inspirational like ‘Find what you love and grab it with both hands and live it’. . . That just rung out in my ears so loudly. So clear. Did you see my weekend adventures in my stories? . I headed down to the newly opened @bakerandco_huonvalley Providore in beautiful Geeveston . Look at my haul of goodies! Delicious coffee beans, marinated olives, gorgeous extra virgin olive oil, crispy wafers, fresh sourdough and a balsamic glaze that I have drizzled on EV-ER-Y-THING . I restrained myself from buying the entire store of homewares and cookbooks, (although I did pick up this lovely little carry basket) but I did spend a vast amount of time pointing out Christmas ideas to my main man . It's wonderful to have somewhere so perfect nearby x
