Shoe print dress by Kingi Carpenter for Peach Berserk. Gift of Julia Pine who wore the dress to the official opening of the Bata Shoe Museum in May 1995. This dress has been an artifact of the week before, but it is currently on display in our Dressing Toronto show, which ends this Friday November 30. Wool jersey (knit) pantsuit labelled McD, by Pat McDonagh, c. 1972/73. English born McDonagh moved to Canada in 1966 after owning a boutique in Manchester. Her first boutique in Toronto was called The Establishment. In 1970 she began to design lines under different labels for different manufacturers. McD was a line of knit clothing she did mostly during 1972/73.
