While I’m definitely proud of the physical accomplishments of 2018 (and have no shame in sharing a #shirtless #selfiesunday ), I’m most proud of the emotional accomplishments over the past year. I’ve grown so much, allowing myself to be content and grateful with all I currently have instead of shaming myself for not being or having enough. Raising Kind Humans I added it to my bio, because it is truly the main focus of my day. Sure, I spend a lot of time helping my kids learn to eat well, but what’s more important to me is how they treat others and how they treat themselves. . Our food philosophy includes accepting others no matter what or how they feed themselves or their family. You will never hear me referring to foods as “toxic” or “poison;” I simply take pride in offering what I feel is the best fuel for my kids. There are foods that “help us to grow” and there are simply other foods that we may eat sometimes or may not eat. My kids are reminded that we accept people that may look, act or eat differently than us and it is not their job to teach them how to look, act or eat. They are encouraged to be curious, open-minded and above all, kind. . Spending the afternoon with @dr.organicmommy and her sweet children was such a good reminder that you really do attract the energy you put out. Of course we have a similar eating style, but it’s the values we instill in our children that has deepened our connection.
