Pull-ups are probably the most difficult exercise to perform and if you can’t do them, you’re not alone. There is nothing wrong with starting with assisted ones and/or pulldowns until you can perform them correctly.

When performing pull-ups, the first thing you want to do is lock your shoulder blades back and stick your chest up. This will help activate your lats so that the exercise actually targets the muscle it is supposed to but more importantly, it is the proper way to keep your shoulders healthy. You may be tempted to do cheat reps but you’re only hurting yourself and substantially limiting the benefit of the exercise. listed exercises for upper and lower chest.

Tricep pushdowns are one of my go to tricep isolation exercises. There are various attachments you can use including this rope. I prefer the rope when I’m doing higher reps because it really enables you to get a strong contraction in your tricep at the bottom when you spread the rope. Try holding it for a second for an extra burn. You’ll still hit your triceps without spreading it like on the left but you definitely don’t want to use momentum like this and you’ll see that you will get a much stronger contraction and better pump when you spread the rope and pause briefly

Had these banded half kneeling knee drives in a recent video and received a lot of questions about them. Basically the main purpose is to create force against the ground with our first stomp into the ground then to drive our opposite leg up as explosive as possible into the band. Continue to drive yourself up into the band once you strike it and try to hang in the air as much as possible without the band driving you back to the ground. We’re firing our hip flexors trying to get them to work a little extra harder throughout the movement.
You can’t run fast and long without strong muscles I mentioned last week that my focus for these next few months will be on getting more gym time while I build back up to my base mileage ♀️ my goal is to stick to 5 days of lifting with a mix of heavy weights and full body days using my go-to workouts from @bodybossmethod ♀️

Band Resistance Runs. Normally the band around the waist is more than enough resistance for the quick set but sometimes I’ll add a mini band around my feet as well to build a little more strength/explosiveness in the hip flexors. If you don’t feel comfortable with the band around your feet, simply don’t put one around them.
