Yoga at home to calm the mind ♀️☺️ I always thought yoga was too slow and did not really appreciate it until I tried classes again this year when it all changed! So easy to practice at home unlike ballet where you need lots of space/barre.
Also still trying to figure out the poses as I am somewhat a newbie to this so if you see any poses that are off you know why! ♀️☺️
Blasting in my Mondays with some heavy weights (20kg on each arm)! I thought my shoulders were going to just land onto the ground!! .
.
Grunting my way through each lift trying to smile is so difficult! I dunno how you people do it but it was a struggle! I look like i was going to give out a cry any minute from the sheer burn on my shoulders. Hahaha!
.
.
BUT despite the grunts and whining, i will still push through. It is so easy to give up but then all the hard work and effort would have just gone to waste. Sheer determination, persistence and consistency is how one can achieve his/her goals.. slowly but surely.. within realistic goals/target so that one can be constantly challenged to pursue the next goal / target without falling off the wagon. .

Hello peeps, here's an update on my personal transformation progress. I have been traveling quite abit during the 1st quarter of the year and I don't really watch my diet during oversea trip.
So I make things very clear to myself that if I am not traveling, I have to exercise to keep healthy and eat regularly and in a moderate portion.
You know as a woman, we always want to lose weight and slim down. It is like a 365 days thingy that we are doing.
I have been very active doing workout and exercising since I started #BBG in 2015. My weight have been fluctuating throughout the years (as you can see from my ig posts) but it is so difficult to maintain my desire figure as you know Singaporean are foodie.
In 2019, I told myself I have to watch my diet, do not overeat and reduce my #BBT, #junkfood and etc. craving.
So I started my daily morning with a glass of smoothie, which is kale, banana, peanut butter and almond milk. Almost everyday the same type of smoothie (but it's delicious to me) . I will hit the gym @fitnessfirstsg almost every weekdays during lunch for classes like bodycombat, hardcore overload, pro 45 and etc and also do a short 10-mins abs workout by @alexisren (gurl, you want that abs definition, you have to do something to focus on your abs). For Lunch, I will try to get food from @thedailycut.sg or @yolofoodsg, usually I can't really finish the whole portion and kept the leftover for dinner. I will also cook from home occasionally. I prep food like mapo tofu, steam egg, chicken breast, pork bulgogi and etc (I can save alot of money and at the same time eating healthy as I don't add alot of seasoning in my homecooked food). For dinner, i will try to eat no later than 6.30pm, portion is almost half of my lunch. Sometime I get hungry in the middle of the night and I will cook some handmade wanton (yst night I had 6 wantons). For now I can say, this method works for me, exercise regularly and eating in moderation.
I will share my intermittent fasting experience in my next transformation post as I reaches the max. amt of wording in this post. ❤️ #transformation

♂️My running journey started in 2009.
.
In this journey, I’ve met many new friends, created running projects, represented the school at competitions and even ran at marathons. Thinking back, running has made me grow a lot as well as created unforgettable memories.
.
In 2011, I was introduced to National Vertical Marathon. It’s the pioneering event for vertical runs and I literally grew with this event. Trust me, this event is just brilliant!
From the way it’s run, the items in the goodie bag, the event performances and activities, lucky draw, marketing and so much more, you’ll enjoy every bit of it. These are the reasons that kept me coming back.
.
8 years later, when @nationalverticalmarathon invited me back to be part of the event, I was ecstatic. But this time, I really want you guys to be there too! Share this with your family and friends, it’ll definitely be one of the most value for money running events and a truly enjoyable one for everyone.
