Must watch makeover!!! ⁣ ⁣ For the foil technique, I did my take on a classic full head foil that I learned at the @tigiprofessionals academy in New York. What I changed though, I didn’t paint any of my weaves to the scalp. I alternated seamless weaves and moderate weaves. Starting my seamless weaves around the hairline.⁣ ⁣ For the haircut I utilized my phantom 6s and 10/10 symmetry shears from @arcacissors. We created a lob but she wanted to keep some texture on the ends and lots of movement through the interior. Drop a if had a lightbulb moment from this #ExclusiveTip from Artistic Team member @christinakreitel ✨ I don’t know about anyone else, but I would often end up with a little extra warmth on my top foils any time I’d do an all over weave! This year it finally clicked with me that it’s because I put too small (width wise) of a section in those top/final foils! ✨ By stopping my two back sections about an inch below the crown, then foiling horizontally to the top, I’d get much more even lift! Thin, but wider sections lift better! This allows those top hair to conduct more heat and process at the same rate as the bottom foils. Not to mention it’s much cleaning sectioning! ✨ Is this a lightbulb moment for anyone else or is it just me?!
