Seared Salmon
Himalayan pink salt
Magic Mushroom seasoning

INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat pan on medium high heat with avo oil
- Place salmon skin side down & sear for 3-4 minutes + flip + cook for another 4 minutes

Savory Scallion & Cheese Pancakes with Eggs + Avocado

These are super flavorful, filling, and of course low carb + keto friendly. They are one of my favorite weekend breakfast options.
.
Here’s how to make a couple of servings. Feel free to increase for more:
.
1.In a large mixing bowl combine 1/3 cup almond flour, 1 tablespoon coconut flour, 1 teaspoon sea salt, 1 teaspoon baking powder, and some garlic powder to taste. Mix all of your dry ingredients well.
.
2.To the dry ingredients, add 1 large egg, 1 tablespoon avocado oil, 2 tablespoons coconut milk (I use canned for best results), and about 5 tablespoons unsweetened almond milk. Mix well and let sit for about 5-10 minutes.
.
3.To the batter, add 2-3 tablespoons fresh scallion (or chives) and 1/4 cup shredded cheese of your choice.
.
4.At this point, you want your batter to be semi liquid. Feel free to add one or two more tablespoons almond milk if needed. It’s your call.
.
5. Heat up a pan to medium, spray with oil (or use 1 tablespoon avocado oil), and pour in a heaping tablespoon (or two) of your batter. Turn the heat to low-medium and flip over once you see bubbles forming on the pancakes.
.
6.Once plated, garnish up with some more fresh green onions or micro greens. I served with 2 poaches eggs, some sliced avo, and strawberries.
.

Breakfast vs. breakfast - which side are you?

Even if you’re not an eggs' fan, there are so many high protein, lower sugar ways to start your day. A quality protein shake with some healthy fats & greens, greek yogurt with fruit or even a clean protein bar like @HempleteNutrition are some examples.
.
When it comes to fruit, eating fruit is a much better low calorie and high fiber option. While you could easily drink 11.5 oz of orange juice, you most likely would not eat 3.5 oranges in one sitting (the equivalent in calorie amount).
