It's Friday again friends! We made it!! A delicious treat after a meal is a tasty Irish Coffee ☘️ This can be a little tricky to make, but it's oh so worth it! 1) Pre-heat a clear glass by pouring in some very hot water. Homemade Hainanese Chicken -Sous Vide ⁣ More tender than the traditional poaching method! Make sure not to skip on making the ginger sauce ⁣ ⁣ As a new mom I am loving my Joule more and more. I can prep meals for the week and pop them into Sous Vide for dinner while I watch the twins! ⁣ ⁣ Happy #FoodieFriday everyone! ⁣ Hope you enjoy the recipe, let me know your thoughts ‍⁣ ⁣ 30 minutes to prep⁣ 3 hours in the Sous Vide⁣ ⁣ Sous Vide Bag:⁣ 3 lb organic chicken ⁣ -clean skin with salt to make it soft ⁣ 6-8 inches of sliced ginger ⁣ 2-3 stalks of green onion⁣ Salt to taste ⁣ Sous Vide at 148 F for at least 2 hours ⁣ ⁣ Rice:⁣ 4 cups jasmine rice ⁣ 2 inches of graded ginger ⁣ 5 inches of sliced green onion⁣ Make rice according to the package but use chicken stock from Sous Vide bag⁣ -8 reseal bag and warm at 135 F⁣ Add more water as needed⁣ ⁣ Ginger Sauce:⁣ 4 inches graded ginger ⁣ 2 inches of sliced green onion ⁣ Salt to taste ⁣ Mix ingredients into a bowl and pour HOT olive or peanut oil overtop ⁣ ⁣ Sweet Soy Sauce:⁣ 1 tablespoon light soy sauce ⁣ 1 tablespoon light soy sauce ⁣ 1 teaspoon vinegar ⁣ 1-1.5 tablespoons sugar ⁣ 0.5-1 teaspoon Sriracha ⁣ ⁣ #FoodIsLove #HomemadeDinner #SousVide #HainanChicken #Recipe ⁣ @chefsteps

Foodie Friday is baaaaaack! It took approximately two weeks for me to realize foodie *Friday* was not the best idea in the sense of I plan everything on Fridays, but Foodie Wednesday just doesn’t sound the same so we’re gonna have to make it work! Thanks to organizing my life a little more this week and a strong craving for peanut butter cookies (guess which was the stronger force haha), it did work this week! Like I said, these were inspired by a craving and they did not fail to satisfy it! They’re the grain free peanut butter chocolate chunk cookies from @cooking_emily and they are indeed chunky, chewy, and the perfect example of the right chocolate chip to cookie ratio Also I don’t know about you, but here it is POURING and the best way to combat rain is baking so get yourself into the kitchen!
