I received this sample of Le Jardin De Monsieur Li by Hermés, and it's quite nice. Only three listed notes of: Kumquat, Jasmine, and Mint. It's a very floral fragrance. I'm not quite sure what Kumquat smells like, but I do pick up a sort of sweetness into the dry down, but mainly a large amount of Jasmine and a faint mint. It's an incredibly natural and breezy smelling fragrances. It's fairly linear and performance is weak, but this would be a great scent if you're just heading out for an hour or two. This particular batch is heavy the birch/smokey vibe in the dry down and is often referred to as a "dirty" batch, but in a good way! Thé Noir 29 from @lelabofragrances. Le Labo (The Lab in English) is a niche fragrance house with a nice array of very unique scents. My favorite is Thé Noir 29, meant to be inspired by Black Tea. 29 has Fig, Cedar Wood, tobacco, oak moss, Vetiver, Lime, Bay leaf and Musk. While not in the official note listing, I also get a lot of dark rose. #fragcitement Another one of my favourites, Oud Wood by Tom Ford. I used to own the 100ml, but I sold it a few months ago and now I am in search for a 50ml bottle because I sort of regret selling it. I would describe Oud Wood as a very warm and cozy scent that’s very versatile. However, I wouldn’t wear this on a hot summer day. I really enjoy wearing this fragrance on a rainy day for some reason, I find it suits the mood. I own a 10ml roll on of the old “gold label” formulation and I have to say, there is a noticeable different in strength and performance. The old formulation is all around much better, and the new is weaker and doesn’t perform as well.
