Yes, I had a tattoo cut out.
Yes, it hurts.
Yes, it’s going to leave one hell of a scar.
But it also stood in the way of taking the next step in my life, soooo in the grand scheme of things, my skin isn’t a big deal.

The tattoo said “choice”, and the irony of having that particular piece removed is not lost on me
Years ago I got it to remind myself that everything in life IS a choice. Now I see *choosing* to have this done in pursuit of where I need to go as that original meaning coming full circle. What’s left behind is a constant reminder of how far I’m willing to go to get there (and also, lets be honest, that I’m stubborn af and won’t take no for an answer).

So yes, I did it gladly.
Yes, I’m smiling about it.
Because yes, it’s already worth it.

3 reasons you might be struggling to lose those few extra lbs⬇️ _
YOU’RE NOT EATING ENOUGH- Wait what? Maybe you’ve been killin it in the gym, killin it with your nutrition for a long time, but lately, the scale hasn’t moved⁉️ You might be thinking.. “Hmmm what the heck, okay maybe I’ll decrease my calories even more and add more cardio, that should do it!” STOPPPppPppp. Stop.
To put it simply, restricting the energy (food) you consume for a long amount of time will slow down your metabolism & your body might be trying to “hold on” to that little bit of extra body fat you are trying to lose, thinking you’re going to take away more food (energy) like you’ve been doing the last couple months.
To remedy this, you simply need to increase your calories No extra cardio, no extra food cuts.

YOU’RE EATING TOO MUCH- Okay Sheri this is the total opposite of what you just told me♀️ Yes but, everyone is different! If you’re just starting out on your fitness journey, depending on your current/past nutrition habits, the thing to do might be to decrease your calories♀️ If you’re eating too much and barely exercising, then you might be consuming the same or more energy than your body is expending during the day. This will cause you to either gain weight or stay the same.
To remedy this, simply decrease your calories by 250-500 a day to start losing roughly 1/2 lb-1 lbs per week _ *continued in comments
