Happy Sunday from rainy Georgia

These Chabaud (carnations) are old-fashioned & date back to the early 1900s and native to the Mediterranean. I started these from seed last September and transplanted at the end of October and overwintered (I didn’t even use row cover). They began blooming about 5 weeks ago and are adorable.
Your flower dollars at work...
The Summer Bouquet weekly subscription begins next week! It feels sooo satisfying to finally get these flowers into the hands of all the beautiful folks who put their faith in my farm and bought a subscription over the past several months. Those funds financed the purchase of seeds, compost, soil amendments, potting soil, irrigation parts, seeding flats, land leasing... the list goes on. You folks fueled this farm engine and I thank you ever so much!
Not a subscriber? Wondering if there’s still time? No worries! You can still sign up through the website until Saturday at 9pm. After that, you’ll need to reach out to me through email, but we can make it work! Flowers for all!

This isn't my first rainbow heart. Nor is it the first time I played with flowers and choked up while dreaming about radical love and total acceptance. To the queer and trans community: I see you, I love you, and I gotchu. Today and every damn day. Happy Pride, Seattle ️ .
