today I just want to shout out my beautiful friend @desb___ I know so many people who follow me that also follow her. When I announced that I would be photographing her wedding I had so many DMs of people freaking out that I knew her. Here’s the story: I have known Des since August of 2016. I was in a time in my life where I really really needed to do something for me. So I found Des through this platform, and saw she was a trainer at a local gym. After a few messages I agreed to hire her to be my personal trainer. Often times during our sessions we talked about dreams and aspirations. I remember telling her about my desire to be a full time photographer in the wedding industry and she would tell me about her want to help change lives and maybe some day have her own business. I remember her telling me about Wyatt and each time she did she smiled so hard. I would talk to her about my relationship back when I was only dating my now husband. Well, here we are 2019 and we are both out here hustling. We both have since quit our jobs and both found the love of our lives. I’m already married to mine, and soon Des will be married to hers. Never did I think that one little message would help establish such a great friendship. We may not be super close, since we work in different avenues, but I know that we are out here rooting for each other. Des inspires me to always keep pushing, and to create even crazier goals. I am seriously so excited and honored to be the one who photographs her wedding day. She told me shortly after we met, that I would be her photographer whenever she got married, and let me tell you, the girl kept her promise! If you don’t already follow her, you should! I swear sometimes I think about quitting what I’ve started! Sometimes I think, I don’t have time for this. I don’t put enough time in with my kids or my fiancé because I’m too busy trying to take pictures for you guys with different styles that I love. But this is my dream, this is everything I have loved since middle school. And honestly, I give up everything in life because I always put everyone before ME or what people think first. But I won’t give this up, I have worked so hard for my blog and my content. This is the man behind it all, I’ve been a stay at home mom for close to 7 years all because THIS man. He has allowed me to do just that and has pushed me to always chase my dreams. It’s been a year since starting my blog and I’ve come sooo far, so so far. I just hit 30K, like say whattt?
