Very fun morning teaching three kids’ yoga sessions outdoors for @minisport_hk as part of their Easter Camp. Thanks for having me! Excited for the rest of the week! Yesterday we took a yoga adventure to the jungle! On the forest floor we met lots of creatures and insects as well as seeing flying insects in the tree canopy! We developed our fine motor skills here by threading patterned and coloured strips through these lacing cards. As soon as the children chose their insect they fell into silence! Their focus and concentration was so intense! I only heard “this is hard” once as they were so resilient and patient! I was so impressed and it proved to be a wonderfully meditative exercise to guide us into relaxation and quiet time. #geckoyoga #geckoyogagraduate #geckoyogaacademy

Class theme of Opposites at a G3-5 school class today. Whilst the students were all arriving I asked them to draw a picture or write a special message to give to the person on the mat opposite them to keep for the class. My lovely yogi opposite me gave me 3 including this gorgeous affirmation So powerful. At the end of the class she asked me if I was going to keep mine and I told her absolutely! It’s going straight into my notebook where I can see it every day! She also told me that after a “super stressful day” it was good to get to yoga and “just let it all go”.
