We tried Clank! for the first time a couple of months ago, and Clank! In Space this past weekend. I agree with those who said space is better—just a bit more going on, and the theme is more interesting. We had a great time playing! One thing that seemed weird (and maybe it was just the luck of the draws,so to speak)—my partner went straight in and out with his “treasure” (I forget what they’re called) while I had hardly any boots and moved slowly. I ended up having probably 10 turns after he had escaped, and got one space before my escape pod before losing my last life. But I had stocked up on good point cards and goodies on my way out so still won. I guess it goes to show you need to balance taking your time to get points and being quick to escape before you get too many hits. Yet another gem I’ve never played! Again...the art it beautiful! This game was relatively simple to learn and play, but required thought, planning, and strategy. Cryptid! Played this last night at Geekway. Not too long of a game but such a huge variety of board configurations, etc give this tons of replayability! It's also pretty easy to learn and setup, probably took our group about 15 minutes total. Going to give this another try today and so should you!
