High up in the arctic north,my life revolved around these two chums.I was living with Nenets, the reindeer herders of the north.
This was their camp in the tundra.
Something beautiful happened on my first night of stay there. Some green lights danced in the sky #yamal #nenets #northenlights #auroraborealis #chum #arctic #siberia #tundra #lifeinthenorth #roam247 #earthoutdoors10k
My dream house right here.
.
I'm pausing whilst doing some writing on my book @musewiththemoon and I came to an excercise where I ask the reader "what dream places would you like to visit? "
.
I think it's important to have mini adventures, it's surprising how many treasures we can find close to home if we just do a bit of research. .
As I love the slow living ethos, it's important for me to have time away from my desk and business to top up my inner magic and curiosity with little excursions.
.
I'm close to the Peak District in UK and have this delightful village in Milldale on my list of places to visit.
.
Pack up a picnic and go exploring.

Where would you like to go? .

Did you get Havasupai permits this year?
Located deep in the Grand Canyon the Havasupai Waterfalls are one of the most stunning natural features of the American Southwest. Reservations for Havasupai become available online on February 1st at 8am MST for the entire calendar year. If you want to visit this beautiful place you’ll have to be quick, reservations for the entire year can sell out in just a couple of hours. Beginning in 2019 the Havasupai Tribe requires a minimum stay of 3 nights which can cost up to $125 per person per night on weekends. However, anyone who’s been to this amazing place will tell you it’s totally worth it. After a 10 mile in you’ll be greeted by these jaw-dropping waterfalls that plunge between 40 and 200 feet off sheer drops into idyllic turquoise pools. The water flows consistently and maintains a temperature of 70 degrees Fahrenheit year-round.
