I usually go for a hot coffee first thing in the morning but this has been a really nice departure - a little bit sweet, a little savory, has the best of both worlds and it couldn’t be easier to make. Below is the recipe. Enjoy guys! ~
Makes 2
- 2 cups almond milk - 1 teaspoon turmeric - 1 teaspoon cinnamon - pinch of ginger powder - 1 tablespoon honey - splash of vanilla extract (optional, but I love it)
Instructions:
Simply add all the ingredients into a small saucepan and warm for a few minutes on low heat until the sides start to simmer. Use a handheld milk frother to froth the golden milk for about 30 seconds. Remove from the heat and pour into a mug and enjoy this delicious drink!
This is a great tried and tested hack that really works if you’re dealing with lots of overwhelming things at once, feeling stressed or a bit "all over the place". And it’s got science behind it too!

Ingredients
2 cups coconut milk
1 teaspoon dried Tumeric
½ inch ginger (but up) or 1 teaspoon dried ginger
¼ teaspoon black pepper
Honey to Taste

How to make it:
Heat milk in sauce pan over medium heat
Add turmeric, ginger and black pepper – stir
Allow to heat (not boil)
Strain if you have fresh ingredients
Enjoy warm or can be refrigerated and enjoyed cold

Golden Elixir Lattes to brighten up a cloudy May day

I am back on a turmeric craze again and have been making golden turmeric lattes almost every night after dinner as it supposed to help you to calm and sleep better. Turmeric is also known for its anti inflammatory benefits and for its high antioxidant content as well. These golden lattes are infused with rose water and coconut oil. This combination is absolutely divine. I am posting the recipe for you right here, and I hope you will give it a try. Hope you guys are having a productive week so far!
Golden Turmeric Lattes
3 cup of hot almond or oat milk
3 tsp of coconut oil.
3 tsp of turmeric powder
1/2 tsp of ground black pepper
3 tbsp of Rose water.
3 tbsp of pure organic maple syrup. Put all the ingredients in the @vitamix or any other high speed bender and blend until foamy. Pour it in a latte cups and enjoy. .
