Dearest Goldstar Families, Thank you from the bottom of my heart for raising patriots. It is said that our life’s journey begins at home. You raised your children to believe in something greater than themselves, something worth standing up for even when others won’t. What you may not realize, is that YOU have accomplished so much more than you realize. True patriots are not born, they are raised. The brave warriors that you brought into the world have changed things for the BETTER. And, they left an indelible mark on all of the people they touched. We will never forget their sacrifice - or your family’s sacrifice. The full dollar will go to The Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation as part of National Military Appreciation Month. IHOP aims to contribute 1-million dollars to college scholarships for the children of servicemen and women that have passed in the line of duty. Today is about remembering and honoring those brave men and women who have given everything to protect this country that we love. They didn’t ask which political party we were a part of or what what our opinions were of current events or the world around us. They just knew that what we have is special, unique and worth fighting for. They knew that our forefathers had this brilliant idea and through the past 200+ years it has worked. They gave their life so we could celebrate today. We honor those men and women and their family and friend who all have made a sacrifice that is beyond what most of us can even imagine.
