I boondocked around Zion and Bryce Canyons the last couple of weeks and loved it. This was my first trip to the area, and I was amazed by its beauty. I’m very thankful our Federal Government provides free camping to us on BLM and National Forrest lands. This enables me to stay out longer, and I can spend more money in the local communities (sometimes more than I would like). This is part of what I like about living this nomadic life. I briefly experience what it’s like to live somewhere else. It’s always new and exciting. I’m never bored seeing the same things everyday. Each area I visit has their unique characteristics, yet there is enough commonality where I feel like home. And the best part is I meet new and interesting friends along the way (even for this introvert). If I haven’t met you yet on the road, I hope to someday. I just don’t want to meet all of you at the same time. That would be a little overwhelming.
Cruising along in The Executive really is quite the experience.

So, we did something a little crazy.

We bought a Wanderlodge! She’s a 1984 (the year I was born) 35’ in nearly perfect condition. Everything inside is original including the built in blender! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
No clue what a Wanderlodge is? Yah, we didn’t either until a few months ago. The Wanderlodge is built by Blue Bird....so we like to think of it as the original skoolie.

The plan is to get a few minor repairs done on it in the next couple of weeks and then we’ll move in!
