To krem pod oczy, który z przypadkowego zakupu stał się jednym z moich ulubieńców. Kto zna tę markę? Mnie początkowo przyciągnęła do siebie japońskim minimalizmem grafiki na opakowaniach, ciągle daję się łapać na takie chwyty marketingowe Na szczęście okazało się, że tym razem krem to coś więcej niż tylko ładne opakowanie. Hada Labo Tokyo jest raczej mało popularne - z koncernu Rohto w Polsce bardziej rozpoznawalna jest chociażby Perfecta. Co ciekawe Rohto Pharmaceuticals Group pochodzi z Japonii, a wszystkie ich kosmetyki, których do tej pory używałam były wyprodukowane w USA. Ten krem też. W składzie znajduje się m.in.: kolagen, kwas hialuronowy, ekstrakt z drzewa jedwabnego i kofeina. Dziwi mnie obecność phenoxyethanolu, o którym ciągle czytam, że jest w Japonii zakazany Czyli uznajmy, że jest to taki polsko-amerykańsko-japoński kosmetyk a nie typowo japoński, niech będzie. Nie lubię używać kosmetyków z kofeiną codziennie, więc krem stosowałam 1-2 razy w tygodniu. Kofeina daje oczekiwane efekty (zmniejszenie opuchlizny i cieni), ale zawsze obawiam się jej innego wpływu na cienką skórę pod oczami, więc staram się nie przesadzać. I właśnie chyba z racji tego, że kofeinę stosuję bardzo rzadko, po kremie Hada Labo widziałam praktycznie natychmiastowe efekty. Wydaje mi się idealny do stosowania na zmianę z kremami nawilżającymi, odżywczymi i natłuszczającymi. Może być taką doraźną pomocą w dni, kiedy wybitnie zależy mi na dobrym wyglądzie. Na pewno kupię go ponownie, pomimo składników, których na co dzień unikam, bo do tej pory nie znalazłam lepszego produktu do walki z cieniami i obrzękami. #spotlightsaturday with my all-time favourite hydration product : Hada Labo Goku Jyun Hydrating Lotion⠀ ⠀ ~£10 for 170ml (beware and don’t overpay, it’s supposed to be very cheap) ⠀ ⠀ I’ve written about this product before, but it definitely deserves another spotlight. In short: it’s super hydrating, lightweight, easy to use lotion (I’d call it an essence) that keeps your skin hydrated, plump, and happy. I’m now finishing my second bottle. ⠀ ⠀ Enriched with 4 types of HA, this lightweight lotion deeply hydrates the skin AND forms a protective hydrating layer. Rather than rubbing it in, I pat the essence gently with my hands to ensure maximum absorption. Skin immediately feels hydrated, soft, and plump. I like to apply it on damp skin to add extra boost of hydration. ⠀ ⠀ The texture is very lightweight and watery, so it makes sense to use it straight after cleansing. A little goes a long way - a nickel-sized amount is enough for face and neck. Because of its lightweight texture, it’s such a pleasure to use as it doesn’t leave my skin feeling sticky/uncomfortable and absorbs in seconds.⠀ ⠀ It doesn’t smell like anything to me and it never irritated my skin. Having sensitive skin, this essence really helped me to keep hydrated without any side effects, so I’d definitely recommend it to anyone. It contains NO alcohol or fragrance, so it’s very unlikely to have an adverse reaction to this product. Of course, everyone’s skin is different so do take precautions still. ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ The best part, it’s very affordable. It’s supposed to cost around £10-13 pounds and the 170ml bottle will last you for a good while. However, I find that a lot of shops charge insanely high prices for it, and it doesn’t worth that kind of money ‍♀️ ⠀ ⠀ This is one of those products I will always keep in my drawer. I use it less often now because I’m testing out TO HA+B5 , but I definitely miss it. Hadalabo has been one of those brands that I’ve always heard of but never got a chance to try! But slowly I’ve been trying them, starting with the toner and now the foaming Cleanser! My sister got this from amazon and I was honestly a bit skeptical, since it is a hydrating cleanser with a foam texture. In the past I would always stay away from foam cleansers because it would always strip away all the moisture from my skin, leaving it tight and uncomfortable. . . But luckily this wasn’t the case for this one! The pump creates a beautiful soft foam and a little goes a long way for this one. I added this into my double cleanse routine, where I would use this product first and then follow up with my cream or oil cleanser. I noticed that my skin wasn’t dry after rinsing it off and it didn’t leave a residue. . I do like this cleanser, but this didn’t make a dramatic difference for my dry skin. What a crazy week! Although I haven’t been able to post much this week, I dedicated time to a new part-time dietitian position, catching up with new and old friends, and down time with my babe. My two saviors have been these guys right here. Been using the @hadalabotokyo wet lotion for moisturizer and primer for my oily skin and the @herbivorebotanicals lapis facial oil at night!

Day 4 of the #skinemmies2018 and this time it’s a brand up for scrutiny! It’s again a difficult category for me as I like to mix and match and I’m not the most loyal of customers - I’ll chop and change and I love experimenting with new products! However, one brand which has consistently given me good results and overall I find myself going back to again and again is @hadalabocosmetic. . . It’s likely because my skin loves hyaluronic acid, which features heavily in #HadaLabo products, doing an excellent job of keeping my skin hydrated and feeling plump and supple. For the price point of the Gokujyun Lotion, you really can’t go wrong and I make sure I always have this in my stash somewhere. . . The product I’ve been most impressed with, or at least range, however, is the Premium version of the Gokujyun Lotion. I haven’t ever noticed results as good as I have with the Premium Lotion from the use of just one product alone. Of course your routine contributes to your skin’s health and every product performs its own part, but my moisture levels skyrocketed when I introduced the Premium Lotion, and I remember it was the very first time I noted experiencing ‘that glow’ which seems to come from deep within. It was a key player for me in discovering my redness was largely due to dehydration and it was extremely reduced after introducing this into my routine. Next up on the #skinemmies2018 is a multitasker, and I know I’ve already talked about Hada Labo so much until I could bore you to tears, but both the premium lotion and the Gokujyun lotion have served me so well in this category I can’t help but sing their praises. . . I adore using both on my face, it’s true, to give me lasting hydration and really amp up the plump fresh feeling in my skin, but I also love using them on my dry lizard skin which exists on my arms and legs. That’s right - while my face isn’t too problematic, I’m constantly faced with itchy angry patches across my arms and legs, which the Gokujyun Lotion really helps keep at bay. . . I also love using both on my nails, especially after using polish for a while. Polish makes my nails a total disaster zone, chipping and flaking and generally looking ratty - but with regular hydration from the Gokujyun or the premium Hada Labo, they look more like their old selves. . . Last but not least - Hada Labo in my hair! I adore using the Gokujyun lighter lotion in my hair as it adds some moisture to my brittle, splitting disaster of a mane. I love how curly my hair gets once I add moisture, and believe me I’ve spent a lot of money on hair treatments - and nothing is as simple and cheap as just an extra boost of HA from my favourite famed lotion. . . Had a wonderful day in London yesterday. I don’t think il think of trying anything new other than these and of course the @katesomervilleskincare Exfolikate will be used on non exfoliating days with @foreo luna fofo and it’s a great cleanser too.
