Knee Pain
Torn ACL, MCL, MINISCUS & SURGERY, I’ve had it all. I used to push through pain, load pain & all that did was strengthen the movement patterns that would lead to more imbalance. Surgery left me with 7 years of knee pain before I finally learned that my knee wasn’t the problem.

What did I do? I had to retrain my body to stop using the wrong movements & train my muscles to do what I wanted them to do. .
I recently tore my medial meniscus, thanks to a loosely fitting sock & half tied shoe (way to go), so I have added some exercises to my regular knee maintenance and wanted to share. .
I stay out of the pain range with everything and work on finding angles that I can work & build strength. I squeeze a few of these in every day or go through the whole routine on a rest/regen day.

Tag a friend with knee pain There is hope! Keep working!

*Hip bridge with different feet positions (I progress these to make sure everything is firing)
*Hip bridge with Doris/plantar flexion
*Hip bridge to single leg bridge
*1 legged bridge while holding the hamstring (still challenging since my injury)
*Quadruped leg extension with band
*Wall squats, isometric holds at different angles (none painful)
*1 leg tibial rotation squat #soundon .
