MY PLANT-BASED DIET: So I received a lot of questions relating to my vegan-ish eating habits during my most recent Q&A on my stories. — Just to clarify (bc I know it can be confusing), I'm not vegan. I really enjoy eating vegan food whenever I can, but I lean towards mostly eating plant-based whole foods plants because my body responds well to that, plus that kind of flexibility works well for me right now. — Though I don't eat a 100% plant diet, I still celebrate the strides I have made, especially as someone who couldn't imagine a world where she didn't eat bacon on the daily (yes, that used to be me). Now, I no longer crave those meat products I thought I couldn't live without. Since I have really cut down on the meat products I consume, I have noticed positive changes in my body, digestion, skin, and energy levels. — If you are looking to begin your healthy living journey, eating more whole foods is a great starting point! Meaning foods that are minimally processed and are as close to their natural form as possible. Try to favor whole foods as much as you can, but remember that it is ok if you don't do it 100% of the time. Good habits don't become sustainable if you force yourself to do something you don't enjoy.✌❤

NAPOLITANAS CASERAS RELLENAS DE CREMA PASTELERA VEGANA CON TROCITOS DE CHOCOLATE . . Os prometo que no las tenía todas conmigo, es la primera vez que utilizaba esta crema como relleno para hornear y el resultado ha sido una verdadera delicia. . Os dejo ingredientes para hacer la masa de las napolitanas y mañana os publico de nuevo, la receta de la crema pastelera vegana . . Que me dices? Te vas a animar a hacerlas? No se tarda nada, prometido!!✋ . . INGREDIENTES - 200 gr de harina de avena - 50 ml de aceite de Oliva - 2 cucharadas soperas de pasta de dátiles casera ( o Endulzante de tu preferencia) - 70 ml de leche vegetal de tu preferencia - Leche vegetal para pincelar la masa antes de hornear - Dos onzas de chocolate negro para decorar - Para el relleno: Crema pastelera vegana con trocitos de chocolate ( mañana tendréis la receta) En un bowl echar la leche, el aceite y la pasta de dátiles, remover muy bien hasta que la pasta de dátiles quede bien disuelta. A continuación añadir la harina poco a poco hasta que quede toda bien integrada. Nos tiene que quedar una masa manejable. Dividir la masa en dos. Sobre un papel vegetal poner la masa cerrar con otro papel vegetal y aplanar con un rodillo hasta que la masa nos quede del grosor que deseemos. No dejar muy fina que luego hay que rellenar con la crema pastelera. Dar forma de rectángulo con ayuda de un cuchillo quitando la masa restante. Repetir el proceso hasta terminar la masa. Una vez que tenemos los rectángulos, rellenar el centro con la crema pastelera vegana, cerrar un lado y luego el otro, deben quedar completamente cerradas, cortar las napolitanas del tamaño que deseemos y poner en la bandeja del horno sobre papel vegetal. Pincelar con leche vegetal ( también las podéis pincelar con una yema de huevo ) Llevar al horno precalentado a 180°C durante unos 20 minutos o hasta que las veáis doradas, esto va a variar dependiendo del horno.
