Vor einigen Wochen habe ich hier schon einmal die Pflege-Produkte von @gehwol
vorgestellt.Inzwischen habe ich sie ausgiebig genutzt.

Tagsüber laufe ich viel herum und bin
abends froh, wenn ich meine Schuhe
ausziehen und ein Fußbad nehmen kann. Warmes Wasser +Pflegebad und
einfach darin die Füße entspannen.
Traumhaft
.
Das Pflegebad enthält Mandelöl,
Vanille, Vitamin E, Avocado- und Rizinusöl.
Damit ist es ziemlich reichhaltig.Ein
speziell für empfindliche Haut entwickeltes Netzmittel sorgt für eine
gleichmäßige Verteilung des Öls im
warmen Wasser
.
Die aufgeweichte Haut wird mit dem
Peeling weiter behandelt, welches
Bambus-Granulat, Jojoba- Wachs und Zuckerkristalle enthält.Super um
die Haut an Unterschenkel und Füßen
zu stimulieren.
Nach dieser ausgiebigen Vorbehandlung
nutze ich zum Abschluss mal die Creme,
mal die Lotion
.
Die Lotion enthält Extrakte aus Wasser-
Lilien, welche die Haut beruhigen und
adstringieren ( verfeinern),Seidenproteine,
die glätten und Hyaluron, welches viel Feuchtigkeit spendet .
Die Creme ist reichhaltiger.Sie enthält
Milch- und Honigextrakt. Dazu noch ein
speziell hergestelltes Hyaluron, welches
zusammen mit Urea Feuchtigkeit in
tieferen Hautschichten bindet und
vor Hornhautbildung schützt

And what I do in my spare time. No judgment please. I clearly have not only hallux valgus ie bunion but also a tailors bunion, little bump off that 5th digit. BUT....my feet work. Well. Because I do this dumb shit all the time. Plus I think it’s fun. 2 pencils. Line the outsides of the feet. 1. Lift toes. Try to get big toe to touch the pencil, moving by itself. 10 reps. 2. Try to get the little toe to touch the pencil, 10 reps. I was pretty excited. I mean, come on that’s cool. And I’m building super

And a break from our scheduled programming….To discuss the foot tripod, some hate the term, some love it, ♀️call it what you will but that foot best be solid on the ground You have to feel the ground. You have to have a stable foundation on which to perch your body

And one little fun fact here too…it is the FOOT that PUSHES the knee out, and the hip/glute that PULL the knee out. So since we have been talking about that knee, if you are squatting, and you hear “sit back on your heels and drive the knees OUT”…..I would be very cautious here. Most will sit on the outside of that heel, drive the knees out….losing the contact of the medial foot, ie big toe. And this my friends, is BIG problem.

Find the “tripod”. Find the “4 points of contact”. Find your FOOT . Good stuff from the DNS Gait course here. .
1️⃣Come up on the toes
.
2️⃣Turn your foot in, and press big toe down
.
3️⃣Keep the base of the big toe down (POINT OF CONTACT #1) as you spread the 4 toes and drive them out
.
4️⃣Anchor the 5th toe toe (POINT OF CONTACT #2)
.
5️⃣Keep the big toe and little toe down, and slowly drop the heel
.
⭐Be in the center of the heel (POINT OF CONTACT #3, and #4 if you are centered in the middle of the heel⭐
FEEL THE MAGIC HAPPEN, a beautifully strong stable foot. Now you can squat…..but don’t lose any of those points of contact

Barefoot vs Shoes CASE STUDY: Jackson....So, at 10 months he started walking and has been practicing over and over and over ever since. However, the fall and winter seasons are up and that means it will be too cold to be BAREFOOT all the time. -

That means we have to introduce shoes ....I’m hesitant because of the development of his balance, foot intrinsics, and natural mechanics he has shown while barefoot. Yesterday, we introduced shoes to Jackson and it was interesting to watch his balance, confidence, and walking ability instantly changed. Granted he got better with practice but he wasn’t as smooth as he normally is at this stage. -
