In defense of my treasure;
Amongst all, I alone was strong,
I thought to myself,
For I found no power a match for my own.”

Huginn & Muninn are Odin’s Ravens that he sends out to patrol Midgard (earth) and report back to him. In this image, they are flanking the magical stave Ægishjálmr (Helm of awe or Helm of terror), one of the most mysterious and powerful symbols in Norse mythology.

Details of the Battle Druid necklace.
For me, all the tiny details are important. What am I about?
All elements of the necklace joined together by one long cotton cord. It is unnoticeable, but it gives some.. wholeness to thing. Oak's center element is covered with natural bee wax, not lacquer. No metal in the necklace, except the electroformed leaves. It's tiny details, but they mean a lot when this refers to smth more than just a jewelry.
When I'd sawn, filed, polished and burnt the elements of this necklace, I thought about how strong the humans are. Almost everything in it made by someone's warm and talented hands, and it's amazing. We can do everything.
This one is SOLD, and guys, thank you so much for your support! I already think about the next one It won't be a copy, but in same style. And (spoiler) there will be bones ☠

// Ægishjálmr //
"Make a helm of awe in lead, press the lead sign between the eyebrows, and speak the formula:
/'Ægishjálm er ég ber
milli brúna mér!'/
'I bear the helm of awe
between my brows!'
Thus a man could meet his enemies and be sure of victory"
- A 19th century Icelandic spell called "There is a Simple Helm of Awe Working"

Also known as the Helm of Awe, or Helm of Terror, the Ægishjálmr is a powerful Icelandic stave, thought to have been used in medieval Icelandic magic as early as the 17th century. The name is also mentioned in the Sagas, thought to be referring to a magical item of legend. •
Wearing these protective symbols hand carved into leather bracers makes the wearer feel ready to take on any challenge, be it battle or smaller daily tasks. There are times in life when you just need the extra push to make the hard decisions, and stride tall into the life you want to live. Let the Ægishjálmr give you strength in these times.

The real historical fact is, NO Aegishjalmur symbol was used during the Viking Age. Sad but true.
Today, as we all know very well, it is used as a charm of protection and an emblem of identification by Ásatrú believers.
* But it is worth mentioning that, according to mythological sourses the first owner of Aegishjalmur was Fáfnir the Dragon.
Some versions are more specific about Fáfnir's treasure hoard, mentioning:
the swords Ridill and Hrotti,
a golden coat of chainmail, and...
The Helm of Awe.
