ps. remember: the sun is AMAZING for you! almost every single person is vitamin d deficient and the most natural source of vit D is the sun. yes, sunscreen is important at times, but do further research than just what google tells you about “the dangers” of getting sun. allow your body to absorb vitamin d fully raw sometimes and let yoooo body soak it in.

@bareminerals pro foundation is my absolute go to makeup here. my skin is used to it since it is my normal makeup so therefore if I sweat, etc my skin doesn’t mind. the spf is 20 and it works SO WELL. sometimes too well haha.. it’s also vegan & cruelty free, yay!

@coola sports stick for your face! these are my fav for a quick run or workout outside. I mainly just use it on my nose.

@andalounaturals + @albabotanica sunscreen. both are AMAZING and superrrr clean ingredients. I get both at vitamin shoppe and prefer andalou 7 times out of 10, but I like alba if i’m just laying in the sun [I use the more oily based one so that’s why].

for sunburn: I am a lucky gal and don’t get burnt often but if/when I do I love using raw aloe from a plant, lavender oil, and @andalounaturals essential oil lotions!

I always get so many messages when I post pictures of us.

..but just like anything, social media shows the highlights.

6 years of not only dating your best friend, but living with them too comes with SO many lessons.

as a young girl I always thought that relationships had to be perfect 100% of the time or else they weren’t meant to be a thing.

but how wrong I was.
relationships take work no matter what.
effort on both ends.
commitment on both ends.
we’ve had SUPER HIGH ups.
we’ve had super low downs.

what I’ve learned is that it’s not about where you go in a relationship.
it’s about where you LIVE and what you accept.
you’re going to hit messy periods.
you’re going to have AMAZING periods.
if you choose to live in a messy time and stop believing that things can’t be amazing then they never will.
you’ll be stuck in the mess.

but if you can look your man in the eye and KNOW that you’re both committed to never ending growth, love, and support, the messy times just become enjoyable because you know the opposite high will be THAT much better.

you can still push yourself, increase your endurance, AND work on balance, mobility, etc because bands add tension and resistance differently than weights do!

REPEAT FOR 20 MINUTES:
▪️wide ground touch jumps: 26 total
▪️banded squat + press: 20 total
▪️jump squat + twist iso row: 20 total
▪️front raise banded jump squats: 15
▪️banded high knees: 1 minute

ok MAYBE you have some weight to lose depending who you are..
but maybe those “20 pounds” you just have to lose before summer is really just inflammation tricking you.

I was severely inflamed [cue left picture, 3 years ago! crazy].
this was when I was vegan.
eating soy, grains, and other food that is not broken down well by the gut.
