Watching the Raven as intensely as he’s watching me from the top of EEOR. Ravens are found everywhere in the Rockies and are highly intelligent. They are scavengers, mischievous and tricksters and can be very annoying towards other animals. Known to open packs and poke holes in your tent, to get food (which should not be in the tent), shiny treasures or nothing. What do you plan to do with your 9 lives?

We are on the road again and I can’t help but feel grateful to have this little one with us. For the first time we experienced caring for a dog in this van, and it was a lot of work. Traveling with Millie has been extremely easy. It makes me curious to why dogs are considered the go-to animal for vanlife... they are beyond wonderful companions, but they also require a lot more energy while living on the road. It’s obviously worth it to bring your pup with you, but it took me by surprise how exhausting it was. Millie is just... she’s just a natural. We are never worried about keeping her in the camper for any period of time. She has insulated places to keep cool or warm, she has a litter box, water, her favorite blanket, food and extra hiding spots. Usually she’s just sleeping when we are on a hike, in the grocery store, or at a gas station. We always make sure to keep the roof windows open, fans going, and park in the shade. If we are concerned, we just bring her with us in a lil bag or backpack. Cats know their territory inside and out. Millie loves this van, and she definitely has “only child syndrome”. This adorable adventurer is spoiled rotten.
