I don’t know about your class, but my class LOVES to talk and talk and share! ‍♀️ This Turn and Talk light Amanda from @thompsonsteachings uses is brilliant!! My team & I had no idea how much we would learn about our students from this activity. . . . It was eye-opening to say the least. I learned that our strongest kids were some of the ones that needed the most help. It also served as a reminder that many of our students have a lot on their mind. . . . If you don’t have a space in your room/hallway for notes like this this. I STRONGLY recommend it. . . . I put off this resource for years, thinking that my students would just voice their concerns. However, many of our students don’t know how to tell us what’s going on in their lives, but allowing them a quick safe space gives them a voice.
