#TBT to The Chisca Hotel. “In this image from the late 1910s, the Chisca Hotel is mostly obscured by a series of elaborate buildings on the east side of Main Street. . The photograph was taken during a procession along South Main Street, likely a women’s suffrage parade or a celebration marking Memphis’ centennial. Today, @thechisca has been newly renovated as apartments and rebranded The Chisca on Main.  The block to its north, on the east side of Main Street, has been completely reshaped and is now home to the headquarters of @mlgwofficial.” .
