I have been doing @ww for 3.5 years..... and my middle is 5.5 years old. So almost her whole life. And she has heard me talk about points for a long time. Just recently she has started asking me how many points things are She definitely knows mama likes 0sp foods bc I always cheer when something is 0sp. So recently we have started talking about how most of the 0sp are 0 bc they are just SO healthy and Nutritious for our bodies! And this morning she said “tell me this breakfast sandwich is 0sp mom!!” And I said no, but it’s still healthy for you. And so we talked about how it’s good to eat food with points. Now I want to say NO my daughter is definitely not counting points, she doesn’t talk about it daily, just here and there. I think she is just becoming aware that mom is trying to live a healthy life. And that’s how I try to explain it to her. I am excited that she is becoming aware that mom doesn’t just eat anything. But that I try to find healthy foods with treats along the way. I love that @ww had not only helped me lose weight (almost 50 pounds ) but even more so it has TAUGHT me how to make healthy portions, healthy food choices, it has taken away the shame I felt with a treat food, and I feel like it is helping me to be a better mom bc I am now teaching my kids these things too. Sometimes not even by my words but just by my actions! And that makes me happy! I think my three daughters are going to grow up with a healthy balance of food! And that just makes me so happy!!!! PS: I love how she ALWAYS wears a headband! And this is one of my favorite ones!
