Since 900 of you crazy people seemed to like this guy I thought I'd give you a second and final image dump of him. These images are some close ups of points of interest and some from further away to show how it might look on a tabletop. I'm particularly happy with the fist freehand (circle is wonky but ✊ is good), the backpack, the base and the weathering. The purity seal was the most fun part of the entire paintjob . Things to focus to improve in the future are highlights and lenses which could have come out better. If you have any questions whatsoever I'll happily awnser as best I can. Guys, if you’ve been keeping up to date with my technology dramas, you’ll know that my PC has died and I’m currently resurrecting it. But in the meantime, here’s a quick tutorial on how to paint the head of an Imperial Fist using the brand new contrast paints! 1. Base coat the model with Grey Seer. I sprayed it and then touched up with the base paint. 2. Paint Iyanden Yellow all over. 3. Pick out the eyes and pipes with Grey Seer. 4. Paint the eyes with Magos Purple (or the spot colour of your choice) and then two coats of Basilicanum Grey on the pipes. You can approach the rest of the model in the same way. For the shoulder trim and chest, I used Flesh Tearers Red and for the belt and pouches, I used Cygor Brown. I then add some small spots of white to the plasma and the eye lenses. Other than that, the whole model was painted super quickly with the contrast paints! As always check out my Patreon for tutorials a day earlier than anyone else plus lots more!
