⛩ Inari, uno de los rincones más simbólicos de Japón ¿Sabías que aunque Inari es la diosa del arroz, desde hace siglos se le ha considerado como la patrona de los negocios? Una de las cosas que más impacta cuando empiezas a recorrer el interminable pasillo de color naranja es pensar cómo han llegado esos miles de Torii ahí. Pues bien, según nos cuentan, antiguamente, los agricultores donaban los Torii a Inari con el deseo de proteger sus cosechas. No sé cuál es la cifra exacta de todos los Torii que hay aquí, pero algunos dicen que son 10.000, otros más de 30.000... Sea cual sea la cifra, impresiona recorrer este pasillo interminable que llega hasta la cima del monte Inari. Simplemente espectacular ❤️ — Actualización: Los torii no son donaciones, sino patrocinios (o esponsorizaciones), y normalmente los ponen empresas (recuerda que es la deidad del éxito en los negocios). La humilde vida de los campesinos no les permitía pagar lo que cuesta un torii, tienen otras formas de pedir a Inari por las cosechas. ’Candidly’ snapped while exploring the mesmerising Fishimi Imari Taisha shrine. This was taken at the head of the shrine, typically chaotic and crowded full of muppets like me trying to get their photos. But there is a hidden trail which lets you climb the mountain in peace and descend through the 2.5 miles worth of shrines back down to the head... it was worth it, even in the rain and the signs cautioning us of the wild boar

Getting lost and found in Kyoto, We arrived at Kyoto railway station and went to the tourist office to find the location of the Japaning office. The office had moved 3 weeks ago but they gave us the old address so we walked for one hour only to discover they had moved. The new address was across the road from the railway station.
